Fog, Smog, Haze
Fog, Smog, Haze
Black Ink on Black Plexiglass
60" x 30"
2010

This drawing depicts an undulating misty mass as it transforms and evaporates. Clouds that form low to the ground conceal the landscape before us foreshortening our vision. Rationally we trust that the world has not been eaten up by this invasive weather system, but for a split second it is interesting to consider this possibility, doing so allows the mysterious haze to connect us to people who once thought the world was flat.
